Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Announces Shea Joachim

MESA, Ariz. — Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority Executive Director Jane Morris today announced the hiring of Shea Joachim as the new Business Development Director.  Mr. Joachim brings over nine years of economic development and commercial/industrial real estate expertise to Gateway Airport; most recently serving as Senior Project Manager for the City of Mesa.  He will be primarily responsible for Airport property management, Airport concessions, and real estate development.

“Gateway Airport is the place to do business,” Joachim said. “I am excited for the future of the airport and I look forward to working with the business community to further increase economic opportunities.”

Airport Authority Executive Director, Jane Morris, praised Joachim’s economic development experience: “Shea has proven himself an invaluable asset to economic development in the East Valley. We’ve had tremendous success here at Gateway Airport and Shea’s experience will help the airport reach an even higher level. I am pleased to have him joining the Gateway team.”

Joachim has a Bachelor’s of Economics and Philosophy from Pomona College and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University.
