Expect Low-flying Airtankers in East Valley
Aircraft Responding to Arizona Wild Fires

Mesa, Ariz. – East Valley residents should expect a temporary increase in airtanker aircraft overflights as the result of the Tenderfoot wildfire.

The U.S. Forest Service has increased its firefighting operations at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport with multiple aircraft arriving and departing during daylight hours.

Concerned residents can call the Airport Authority’s noise complaint line at 480-929-7902.
