MESA, Ariz. — Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority has reopened its popular Cell Phone Lot after a nearby construction project closed it for two years.  The lot is specifically designed for visitors choosing to wait in their vehicles when picking up arriving passengers.

“At Gateway Airport, we strive to make the passenger experience ‘just plane easy®,’” said Interim Executive Director/CEO J. Brian O’Neill, A.A.E. “Although parking at Gateway Airport is reasonably-priced at just one dollar per half hour, cell phone lots are a sought after amenity at most airports and enhance the customer’s overall travel experience.”

The cell phone lot is located south of the passenger terminal at Sossaman and Ulysses Avenue.
